I mostly write science fiction, though lately I’m inspired to write some modern fantasy. Contemporary Fantasy I suppose is the tag. I have been reading and watching The Discovery of Witches, Good Omens, and The Dresden files and came up with some ideas for a Nanowrimo project for 2020. Stay tuned to see how well that goes.

One thing that keeps coming up is what could you use magic for? Learning spells, focusing your magic takes time and energy, so if you only had a little what spells would you want to learn?

Would you want to know a spell to jump a dead battery, light a candle, teleport, heal minor injuries? There are so many possibilities.
